July in Review: A Month of Catching Up and Cherished Moments

July was a full one. Between studio work, wonderful clients, personal milestones, and a surprise case of COVID, it ended up being a month of catching up, slowing down (when I could), and appreciating the people around me.

Here’s a look at what the past few weeks looked like behind the scenes:

Grateful for Good People

One of the best parts of this month was getting to work with such kind, thoughtful clients—some who’ve been with me before, and others I had the chance to meet for the first time. Whether they came in for a custom piece or to pick something out of the case, those moments are the reason I do what I do.

A Week Off (Whether I Wanted It or Not)

Getting COVID definitely threw things off. I had to slow down for a bit, and it took me a little while to feel like myself again. That set me back with work, and I ended up putting in some extra hours to catch up. It wasn’t ideal, but I’m thankful it was manageable—and even more thankful for the folks who were patient with me while I got back on track.

A Really Special Project

The most meaningful part of this month was making wedding rings for my best friend, Aspen and being her Maid of Honor. It was such a special thing to be asked to do, and I feel lucky I could be part of their day in that way.

The rings were simple and personal: a 14k white gold baguette diamond band and a sterling silver flat band with opal inlay. I shared them on Instagram if you’d like to see more photos.

Learning to Find the Balance

Summer always feels a little busier—more events, more energy, more to juggle. I’ve been reminded that I need to protect space for rest and time with loved ones. One thing I’m proud of is sticking to my “no work Sundays” as much as I can. Those slower days help me reset and stay connected to the life I’m working hard to build

Looking Ahead

There are a few new pieces and ideas quietly taking shape right now. I’m excited about what’s coming—and also just trying to take it one step at a time. If you stop by the shop soon, you might catch a preview of something before it’s officially released.

Thanks for reading and for being here. I know I say it often, but your support truly means so much. If you’d like to start a project don’t hesitate to reach out!

Here’s to a gentle August. <3
