Six Years of Skyli Design

Six Years of Skyli Design

A Journey of Creativity, Growth & What’s Next

Six years ago, I learned how to create jewelry in the heart of Santa Fe on the historic plaza. I had a passion for art, a head full of ideas, and a dream of creating pieces that told a story. What started as a small vision has grown into something truly special—Skyli Design. And none of it would be possible without you.

Every piece of jewelry I create carries a story, but so does this journey. Over the past six years, I’ve watched Skyli Design evolve, my skills sharpen, and my little studio transform into a space where creativity thrives. I’ve met incredible clients who have trusted me to bring their visions to life, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.

As we celebrate this milestone, I want to take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and share some exciting plans for the future!

The Evolution of Skyli Design

Looking back at my early designs, I can’t help but smile. Those first pieces were made with just as much heart as the ones I create today, but my style and craftsmanship have grown in ways I never imagined. Over the years, I’ve experimented with new techniques, refined my approach, and found my signature aesthetic.

Some of you have been with me since the very beginning, collecting pieces that reflect different moments in your life. That’s what I love most about jewelry—it becomes part of our personal story.

To celebrate, I’ll be sharing a visual journey of some of my past collections, highlighting how my work has evolved. From my first handcrafted pendants to my most recent designs, I can’t wait to look back at where it all started. A 6 year video compelation is shown at the end of the vlog so be sure to check it out!

The Studio Transformation

Skyli Design didn’t always have a dedicated home. I started small—just a workspace with a few tools, an idea, and a lot of passion in the back of an ice cream shop. Over the years, my studio has moved and evolved into a place where creativity flourishes.

I’ve added new tools, expanded my workspace, and refined my process to bring even better pieces to life. My studio has become more than just a workshop; it’s a space where ideas turn into something tangible and meaningful. I love that I can have clients in and they can see where their piece was created!

This transformation is a huge part of my journey, and I want to share the before-and-after of how my creative space has grown. Enjoy the old & new clips of my studio in the vlog above!

The Anniversary Dragon Piece – A Symbol of Strength & Growth

To mark this milestone, I wanted to design something special—something that reflects not just six years of Skyli Design, but the journey of creativity and resilience that got me here.

The anniversary dragon piece is a one-of-a-kind design, a symbol of strength, transformation, and artistry. This piece will be a modified version of a design that will soon be available in-store, making it even more special.

Dragons have always fascinated me—their power, elegance, and symbolism of growth align perfectly with this moment in my journey. I can’t wait to share the design and its meaning with you!

What’s Next: Skyli Design in 2025

As I celebrate six years, I’m also looking ahead to the future. One of the most exciting things coming up is the launch of jewelry courses in summer 2025!

These courses will be an opportunity for you to step into my world, create your own meaningful pieces, and experience the joy of making jewelry firsthand. Whether you’re a beginner or someone looking to explore a new creative outlet, these workshops will be designed to inspire and guide you.

This is just the beginning—there are so many ideas, collections, and creative projects on the horizon.

A Final Thank You & What’s Next

Six years ago, I could only dream of where Skyli Design would be today. Now, I’m living that dream every day because of your support. Whether you own a piece of my jewelry, have followed my journey, or simply believe in what I create, I want to say thank you.

I’d love to hear from you—what’s your favorite Skyli Design memory or piece? Feel free to reach out on social media and share your stories with me or comment on this blog post! And be sure to stay tuned for updates on the anniversary dragon piece and upcoming jewelry courses.

Here’s to six years of creativity, and to many more ahead!
