Designing the Dream – Skyli Design Jewelry Store in Santa Fe

In September 2024, Skyli Design took a major step forward. On September 1st, Skyli received the keys to a new storefront in the Santa Fe Village Mall—located just a few blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. What began as an empty, unfinished space would soon become the home of her dream jewelry store.

This new storefront was set to become the primary retail location for Skyli Design, while the original space in the same mall transitioned into a dedicated studio for production, custom work, and workshops. Both locations now work together as one connected creative environment—one for clients to explore jewelry, and one where the magic is made.


With only 20 days to transform the space before opening on September 20th, the process was intense, exciting, and deeply personal. Every wall, display, and detail was built by hand and with intention. The new Skyli Design store is more than a retail space—it’s a physical expression of years of designing, learning, and building trust with clients.

The 20-Day Transformation

The transformation began the moment the keys were in hand. Over those 20 days, Skyli juggled:

  • Painting and repairing the space
  • Planning the layout for jewelry displays and the studio area
  • Sourcing furniture, cases, and fixtures
  • Setting up lighting to make gemstones and metal come alive
  • Organizing processes, displays, and inventory.

It was a true “designing the dream” period—long days, late nights, and constant problem-solving. But piece by piece, the store came together. A huge thank you to all the people that showed up and helped make it happen!

A Jewelry Space Built with Intention

The new Skyli Design store was created with intention at every level:

  • A welcoming front space for browsing jewelry
  • A working studio where pieces are designed and made by hand
  • A place where clients can see, feel, and be part of the process

From custom engagement rings and cat customs, to anime inspired pendants, each piece that leaves the studio is crafted in this space.
